New Virtual Weaving Courses This Fall
I’m excited to offer two new 4-week virtual Intro to Weaving courses, taught live through Google Meet.
The first course, Plain Weave: Exploring the Possibilities, begins September 15 and focuses on the fundamentals of frame loom weaving and the many possibilities of the simple over-one, under-one structure. We’ll explore color, texture, materials, density, and more while documenting our process and building a personal weaving portfolio.
The second course, Twill, Surface & Materials, begins October 20 and introduces twill while exploring surface design, texture, different materials, and non-traditional approaches to weaving.
Both courses include a small frame loom kit, starter yarn, weaving instructions, a portfolio binder, digital course materials, and U.S. shipping.
Early Bird Registration: $195
Regular Registration: $225
Space is limited, and no previous weaving experience is required.
